Please enjoy some feedback from a selection of students who have taken IELTS preparation lessons at Sydney English Teacher. 

VALERIA from Argentina: My IELTS Preparation lessons with Nicole were focussed on the areas where I was weak. They were fun and helpful and my English improved so much. We focussed on were reading and writing and Nicole tailored our lessons especially for my needs. What is more, she used the newest materials about IELTS. I learnt a lot and I felt well-prepared and confident when sitting the IELTS exam. My questions were answered thoroughly. Nicole is a positive person who teaches with a lot of passion. When I started my IELTS preparation with Nicole my score was around a 5.0, by the end of my lessons I got a 7.5 overall score in the Academic exam. I recommend Nicole to anyone who wants to achieve high marks in the IELTS exam. This is because Nicole focuses her lessons on your needs and knows what to do to help you achieve good IELTS results. 

FRANCE from France: I had private and group lessons with Nicole to prepare IELTS. The lessons were serious, intense and in the same time funny, we had a lot of fun together, especially when we were several ladies with Nicole. Nicole focuses on my lacks, my mistakes of pronunciation, the grammar errors and the essential points for the writing exams. She focuses on my speaking which was at a low level. Without Nicole and her lessons I will never have had the IELTS! I learnt a lot, of course, especially how the exam will be and what the examiner will expect of me. Nicole gave me all the essential and important things to know, she gave us all the tips to be successful! She gave me a very important thing: self confidence and I was very confident on the day of the exam, I was already sure I will succeed it! Nicole is a very good teacher and the one we dream to have for every part of our day life when you start something new. She gives you energy, dynamism and a lot of fun to work hard on your English and succeed your exams! I got a 6.5 with a 7.0 in both writing and speaking, this is only thanks to Nicole, without her I would never get such good results. I highly recommend Nicole to my friends and everyone who wants to prepare exams and improve English skills. She is very efficient, she gave you all the booklets and support and tips to prepare the exams. She knows very well how the exams are since she herself an examiner in the Cambridge exams. She gives you self confidence, knowledge and the enthusiasm to learn more and more. Since I know Nicole, I want to pass a new exam every year! 

NAOMI from Japan: Learning with Sydney English Teacher was amazing experience to me as Nicole's way of teaching for IELTS preparation is very methodological, logical and fun. Of course we have to make an effort but it was much easier since Nicole told me what was the important points that I have to know and I have to focus, which for me was especially writing and speaking. Although my time to prepare for the IELTS test was limited, she arranged perfect time schedule for me to reach my aimed IELTS score. With Nicole I always knew that I can learn some meaningful techniques and skills and she always gave me more than what I expected. She gave me the answers of my questions as well as the thought that without effort, we can not get the score that we want. As a person, Nicole is just one of the nicest people. She always cheerful and has kind attitude to students. We always appreciate the environment that we learn with her. After the lessons, my score was 7.5 for reading and listening, 6.5 for speaking and 6.0 for writing. I was very happy. I recommend Nicole to everyone - if students do not know how to get started for preparation of the IELTS, Nicole is the person they have to talk to. MARCIA from Brazil: I loved studying with Nicole, the lessons were well prepared and Nicole has wonderful teaching skills. Together we focused in all areas of the IELTS exam, but particularly on writing, which was very useful and I improved my vocabulary and writing skills a lot in her classes. The lessons were very useful, I certainly learnt a lot. Nicole is very approachable and is always working to help me reach my best achievements. Nicole is very kind and friendly. My classes were always a mixture of fun time and improving my skills. I have learnt so much from Nicole's classes, she has a very unique method of teaching, which is very helpful for the exam. With Nicole I achieved a high score on the exam, totaling a 7.5 overall on the Academic exam (with 8.5 for writing!) OLESYA from Russia: I love studying with Nicole so much that I have never left. After my successful exam preparation lessons, we have continued with University preparation and support, job preparation and support, and overall English skills development. Nicole helped me to discover gaps in my English. Then she gave me the most valuable information how to develop my skills and gave me a variety of relevant exercises. The IELTS preparation lessons were very intensive, however the lessons' atmosphere was very friendly and difficult information was well presented. We focused on everything. In other words, the majority of time we spent on improving my writing and reading skills, moreover Nicole explained me some valuable patterns how to use my note taking skills and improve my listening, also we paid attention to my speech development. Every lesson Nicole asked me questions about my difficulties and resolved them straight away. The IELTS lessons were definitely useful, I learned a lot. Not only do my IELTS skills improve, but also such knowledge build my confidence and I become an easy going person in daily life. Besides, different aspects of daily routine, including writing letters, reading newspapers and English books, listening to news and formal and informal communication with people, are not a problem for me any more. I still make a few mistakes, nonetheless I don't worry about them a lot, because they became a minority and will be self-resolved over time. The foundation that Nicole has given me have removed the critical barriers of my everyday communications and made me very confident person. Nicole helped me a lot and answered on all my questions with taking into consideration my requests. Honestly, Nicole is the best teacher that I have ever had. She has a well developed teaching structure, which fully covered particular students' needs. The information is well organized and professionally presented. My lessons with Nicole made the IELTS exam much much easier. Her special IELTS method works in variety of circumstances not only it works in the IELTS Preparation routine, but also in daily life. My first and second results without Nicole were not so good, I got an overall band of 6 academic, but after only 3 weeks of studying with Nicole my score soared up to 7.5 overall in the academic exam. I recommend Nicole to everyone I meet. The main strength of Nicole's lesson is her professional way of teaching and individual goal-oriented programs. And she is also a lovely, friendly, welcoming, encouraging person who makes learning enjoyable.

IRIS from China: My lessons with Nicole were very useful and gave me a great guide for my ielts preparation. Together we focused more on writing for IELTS. The Sydney English Teacher writing format is easy to understand and remember and it brings great results very quickly. I learnt a lot from Nicole, the content of every lesson was very special and helpful. Nicole fully solved my problems and gave me lots of extra notes and explanations about my questions and mistakes. Nicole and her teaching are WONDERFUL!!! MOHAMMED from Saudi Arabia: I would like to describe my lessons with Nicole in three words: very useful, effective and organised. Together we were focusing on writing. I would like to say something very important, before I met Nicole I had two IELTS courses in universities and three private courses with three different teachers, but honestly Nicole was the BEST english teacher i have seen. One of my previous teachers was an IELTS examiner and she was not good - Nicole was amazing. She promises you results, listens very carefully to your concerns, analyses your areas of weakness, and focusses on lifting your skills and filling in the holes as quickly as possible. The lessons with Nicole were awesome and really I learnt more with her than I was imagining I could, and more than with any other teacher or class before her. With every single question I asked I got perfect answers from Nicole. Simply, Nicole is experienced enough to determine what is your problems and how you can cope with it and solve it. 
Nicole is the best english teacher I have seen ever. She likes her job so much and she makes you like to study the organised plan she gave you. She has a simple method of teaching and makes you feel the improving of your english skills. Nicole's method is a really special method which makes your study so much easier for you and it takes away the test preparation stress. After I finished the lessons with Nicole I was so much confident because I understood exactly what the examiner want me to write. I got 6.5 after the lessons, a big improvement from 5.0 before I met Nicole. I am so happy with the IELTS preparation course by Sydney English Teacher. I strongly recommend Nicole for you to give her your trust and I promise you will never regret for that. I like Nicole so much and respect her a lot. She is an excellent teacher and a very kind and helpful person.

TRISTAN from Germany: Nicole and me was working really hard during our 15 hours together, but we had a lot of fun and she was always open to answering my questions! She helped me a lot! We focussed on the essay and the Ielts Reading test together and after just a short time together everyone can see that my english is much better now. Nicole always has an open ear and she cares so much about getting her students the results that they want. She is very focused on our aims, and she is very helpful and friendly. Without Nicole I think I will still learning for the Test and I will still be failing the test! After our lessons I passed the Test with a overall score of 6 and now I have my visa without any worries. PHILIPP from Germany: I enjoyed my lessons with Nicole. The atmosphere was productive and Nicole was always focussed to improve my skills. I really enjoined it to work with her! We focused especially on writing and vocabulary. Nicole matched up the lesson perfect to my needs so I could improve in a short amount of time. Our lessons together were so useful. My questions were always answered in a very friendly and logical way that helped me a lot to understand and use this language in a appropriate way and she was always working on my difficulties. Nicole is ambitious and she really knows how to handle her students if you need to get motivated Nicole always knows whats the best. Besides that she can also be very strict if she notices that you are not working hard enough to achieve your goals. Nevertheless she is a very friendly person with a big heart and always good for a laugh. I was always looking forward to the next lesson with her. Nicole's special IETS Method and teaching method made my learning so much easier. Writing essays was always a big problem for me. Now that I am knowing the secret techniques of Sydney English Teacher its as easy as A B C! One of the results of my lessons with Nicole was the more confident usage of my English. The other was my IELTS score of 7.0  (before Nicole I never got more than 5!) First of all Nicole has the ability to spot exactly what are your difficulties and how to work on them successfully. Therefore she will match up the lessons to your personal needs. Moreover she is at least so ambitious as yourself to reach your aims. In addition to this Nicole is teaching English for years and she will bring in all the experience she has to help you. So if you want to improve your English skills and you are willing to work for that hard, I recommend Nicole to you without any hesitations. 

DANIELLE from Brazil: The IELTS classes with Nicole were really good and Nicole was very straightforward. I told her what I needed and she prepared a course that met my requirements. We focused on reading and writing. I had done 3 IELTS tests before the lessons and my scores were always 6.0 or 6.5 and I needed 7.0 The lessons and the tips Nicole gave me were very useful. All my questions were answered and Nicole would give me real examples to demonstrate her point. I enjoyed her way of teaching and she made me feel very comfortable during the classes. After having some classes with Nicole, we identified where my mistakes were and I could focus on studying the right way, instead of studying my mistakes. Before classes I got Reading 6.5, Listening 7, Writing 7.5, Speaking 7.5 and after my classes with Nicole I got Reading 7.5, Listening 8, Writing 8.0, Speaking 8 
I recommend Nicole to anyone who is stuck with the IELTS and needs to improve their score - my time with her and the work we did together is definitely what got me the results I needed.

FREDERIKE AND JARON from Germany: We would describe our lessons with Nicole as the best we could've done for an effective preparation. The lessons had not only been extremely useful, but very entertaining and cheerful. It was fun to learn with her. I think that is why we learned so much. Our major problem before meeting Nicole was writing (academic) and reading, listening and a little bit speaking. Nicole tailored our lessons perfectly to our individual needs and she got us the results we needed - in just one month! The lessons with Nicole were the best preparation we could hope for. In this 4 weeks we learned 10 times as much as we learned in high school. She really answered all of our questions and explained them so precisely that all of our difficulties were minimised. Nicole is lovely, friendly, helpful and entertaining. It was really fun to learn from her, at the same time the results of our lessons speaks for the high quality standard of her teaching. Thanks to Nicole, both of us got an overall result of 7.5 in the Academic exam - how amazing! Speaking - J:7.5, F:7.5, Reading - J:9.0, F:8.0, Listening - J:7.5, F:8.5, Writing - J:6.5, F:6.5 I highly recommend Nicole - in our opinion her lessons are the best preparation for the IELTS you can get! Seriously. 

GEORGE from India: I had 20 hours of intensive IELTS preparation lessons with Nicole. The main two areas I needed help with were writing and reading however Nicole helped me in other two areas of IELTS too. After my first class with Nicole she knew exactly where my problems are and prepared lessons to my standard. Once I started picking up she gave me tough lessons and challenged me to think and perform in the time slot. All the lessons I had with Nicole were useful. I improved a lot in writing and reading for IELTS. Moreover, I now know how to improve my vocabulary and avoid mistakes in writing. All my questions were answered. I always had lots of questions in IELTS and general questions for new vocabulary and how to use in different situation in life. Even though it was not for IELTS she was always happy to answer all my questions. I had an awesome time with Nicole. The lessons I had with her were more than what I anticipated. She found my problems in first class itself and prepared teaching program which suits me. She is very friendly and answered all my questions. I found she is very patient which is something I always look for in teachers. When I repeated the same mistakes, she gave me different situation and examples to practise. Another important thing I like in her teaching is that she make me understand each section very well before moved to another section (it wasn't about finishing the sections in the slot but making sure I learned thoroughly each section). I got band 7.5 score because of Nicole (before her I only got 6.0) She is a wonderful teacher. I will recommend her to all of my friends who want to improve English. I want to continue learning with Nicole now that the IELTS exam is over so that I can improve my English for work as well and improve my overall confidence.

EDWARD from Taiwan: I did my IELTS lessons with Nicole for 18 fun hours. The lessons were tailored to my needs and it was delivered in such a way that it is simple yet very effective in tackling the IELTS test. We focussed on the writing and speaking part of the test. Before lessons with Nicole my IELTS score for writing and speaking were 6.5, but after the lessons I have been able to increase my score significantly to 7.5 and 8.5 I am so happy. I would recommend to anyone who is keen to improve their English and is having difficulties in passing the IELTS test. Hard work + Nicole's lessons, I believe you could achieve any IELTS band you want. I got overall 8.0! And I couldn't get that result without Nicole.

SURINDER from India: The lessons with Nicole were great. She is the perfect teacher for IELTS preparation. I like her way of teaching. We learnt writing.
